Meet our Head Coach!

Hello Parents! I’m Yan Zhi, Head Coach of Special Heights!
I’ve been coaching indoor climbing for about 8 years, and over the years I’ve worked with many children of different abilities, including kids with additional needs.
I started Special Heights because I saw how important it is for children to have a space where they’re not rushed, compared, or forced to do things before they’re ready. Our sessions are very calm and flexible. We go at the child’s pace, adjust based on how they’re feeling that day, and focus on helping them feel safe and comfortable first. Some days they climb more, some days they just try, and that’s already a win. If this sounds like something your child might enjoy, I'd really love to have you join us for a class ❤️
